About Me

I have been working with kids and families for the past 30 years. While getting my undergraduate in Elementary Education with a minor in Early Childhood I spent my summers working at youth camps in Wyoming.

In the spring of 1999 I moved to Oregon to student teach (and as it turned out to meet my future wife.)

After a short stint at Nike working in their child development center I decided to go into public education.

I began teaching 4th and 5th graders in 2001.  Over the next thirteen years I taught Kindergarten, 3rd, 4th and 5th grade.

In 2008 I completed my Masters of Education and in 2013 my Administrators License.

Leaving the classroom, I worked building wide at two different schools helping teachers and parents as a Student Management Specialist grades K-8.

After my father passed away, I decided to step away from public education and I spent the next two years writing a book on fatherhood.  I have loved the time away but I miss working with families and supporting parents.

Fathergood Coaching allows me to return the work that is closest to my heart, helping dads and moms with what I believe is the most important work of their life.

I can't wait to meet you.
